Sonata to Sell and Support IMSL™ and PV-WAVE® Data Analysis Solutions

HOUSTON, Texas – July 25, 2006 – Visual Numerics, Inc., celebrating 35 years of producing advanced numerical analysis and visualization software, announced today that it has partnered with Sonata Information Technology Ltd. (Sonata), a leading product marketer and data solutions provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Sonata Software Limited in Bangalore India. Sonata will sell and provide technical support throughout India for Visual Numerics’ IMSL Numerical Libraries for powerful mathematical and statistical analysis, and the PV-WAVE visual data analysis development environment.
