Installing the JMSL Numerical Library for Java

1. Executing the install program
Insert the CD, and the install program should start automatically. If it does not start, run setup.jar in the root directory of the CD.

2. Welcome
The first window introduces the installation program for the JMSL Library. Click Install JMSL Numeric Library to continue.

3. License Number
If you have a License Number, enter it at this point. If you do not yet have a license number or you are evaluating the product, input 999999. Press Next > to continue.

4. Install directory
Set the directory where the JMSL Library will be installed. Browse the directory tree to select a location. To create a new directory, use the icon in the upper right. Press Next > when you are satisfied with the selection.

5. Installation summary
The library is ready to be installed. Click Install to continue.

6. Installation progress
You will be updated as the installation proceeds.

7. License information
This screen contains all of the necessary information to obtain a permanent license file for the JMSL Library. If you have purchased the product and need a permanent key, copy and paste this information into an email and send it to lmgr@vni.com. If you are evaluating the product, you do not need this information yet. Press Next > to continue.

8. License Manager
This screen allows you to enter a DEMO or permanent license file information. If you are evaluating the product and have a demo key, fill in the [expiration_date] and [license_key] placeholders and click Save File. If you need to run a license server, it can be started here (note that you do not need to run the server with a DEMO key).

9. Installation complete
After the license management step, the installation is complete. Click Finish to close the setup program.
