PV-WAVE Standard Support
PV-WAVE - Software Update Subscription Service (SUSS)
This program is Visual Numerics' basic level of support. Users receive product updates and have access to technical support engineers during normal business hours. In addition to the items included in the Electronic Support Plan, the Standard Support Plan includes the following:
- Free updates to the purchased product while on the support plan. This would include bug fixes, patches and new product releases*
- Flexible license transfer policy
- Access to technical support specialists Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Mountain Time (except holidays). Please refer to the Software Update and Subscription Services terms for more information.
- Unlimited number of support contacts per site
- Standard support procedures include:
- Assistance with "normal" product usage questions
- Problem escalation based on a combination of first come first serve and the severity with which the problem affects the user
- Bug fixes and enhancements will be queued for consideration in future releases
*Since 1970, Visual Numerics has offered all major product releases to customers on support free of charge as part of its standard support policy though the company reserves the right to modify this policy based upon business demands.

PV-WAVE Educational Support
Annual Campus/Department Wide Licensing
Note: Available to educational institutions only.
The PV-WAVE Educational Support Program has the same privileges as the Standard Support Plan except as described below.
- Unlimited usage of the current and down level releases of our products during the one-year term
- Students have the option to purchase unsupported versions of PV-WAVE Advantage for the PC for $99 each with appropriate student ID
- One key contact, identified by the University, has access to Visual Numerics' Technical Support
